The stomach flu is also known as Viral Gastroenteritis. I choose this because I always hear of people having a stomach flu, but I never knew why it happened and how it was caused. This relates to what we've been learning because when you get a stomach flu your stomach, small intestine and large intestine lining is inflamed. My only main questions now are how they get inflamed and what is the main cause of the inflammation.

Symptoms usually appear within 12 to 48 hours after exposure
to a gastroenteritis-causing virus and last for 1 to 3 days. Some viruses cause
